What do Data & AI jobs involve?
Data & AI covers several complementary roles. Data engineers build the pipelines that collect data and make it reliable; data analysts explore it and create dashboards; data scientists and machine learning engineers train and deploy predictive models; AI engineers integrate large language models into products. They all share a common foundation: statistics, programming and a solid grasp of the business.
Typical responsibilities
- Collect, clean and structure data from multiple sources.
- Build prediction, classification or recommendation models and measure their performance.
- Deploy data pipelines and models to production (MLOps).
- Present findings to business teams through reports and visualizations.
